Access and Maps
Here at EYECAN we undertake quite a wide range of access audits, these include testing on your website, visits to your attractions and places of work.
We are able to give informal feedback and hints and tips to make them more usable.
Or, we can deliver a comprehensive package that includes reports, products and training to help you become more aware of some of your visitor’s needs.
You may have been reading other pages on this site that tells you that we specialise in visual impairment, however we work with other organisations and individuals to deliver a comprehensive range of needs from the wider community.
From the needs of a parent or child with a disability to the needs of an older visitor with their own needs.
We hope to be able to help you.
If you would like to find out more about two other organisations that we work alongside, follow the links to the following pages.
Here we have a photo of a tactile map for the blind.
This map is for the Sheffield Moor Market.
Audio and tactile maps have been designed for Kelham Island Museum, Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind, and the York Minster.
These two organisations have many other projects that they work on individually but the example is just a few examples where the three organisations have worked together to produce accessible maps, training and audio guides.
